Turning Leaf was established in 1993.

Our introduction to this noble breed was one of life's true blessings and greatest responsibilities.

We chose the prefix Turning Leaf based on the expression, When you decide to do something different, to change life for the better, you are turning over a new leaf.

Our enduring goal is to continue to preserve and protect the original purpose of the Jack Russell Terrier, using the FCI standard as our blueprint. We focus on excellent health, sound temperaments, workability, and structure, as we believe function follows form.

Our registeries and club affiliations include the American Russell Terrier Club, the United Kennel Club, the United Jack Russell Terrier Council of America, and the American Kennel Club in which our Russells have been accepted into the Foundation Stock Service.
